As the SVP of Communications for HPL Digital Sport, Mike is responsible for the execution and implementation of strategic communications and media relations plans. Mike oversees how his clients can leverage the media to influence audiences and build brand awareness to achieve its sales and reputational goals.
A believer in creating data to lead storytelling efforts, Mike has created a number of notable surveys and reports including HPLDS’ flagship study “The State of the New Sports Bettor,” the sports betting industry’s first look at the behaviors, needs and wants of the average sports bettor in America. During his time as the communications lead at KPMG prior to HPLDS, he created and led the execution of two of KPMG Cyber’s largest thought leadership reports: the Consumer Loss Barometer and the Cyber-Healthcare Report.
A seasoned communications professional with more than a 15 years of in-house and agency experience, Mike has worked with notable brands, from start-ups to public companies including: American Express, EY, Sportradar, Monkey Knife Fight, Rush Street Interactive, SharpLink Gaming and The Corcoran Group.
Mike is a former collegiate rower and earned a BS Public Relations & Advertising from Ithaca College.
